ReplyDeleteA)In the police stn wen kalki is confronting abhay and suddenly a kid enters to collect her basket ball. It actually gives a strong message...as in the society which is living outside that closed door dont really care about what the fuck is happening inside..."we dont give a damn"...
ReplyDeleteB)in ultra slomo wen that fatso is getting blackened by somebody...(U know this trailer or u can say film(it seems) actually confuses u ki this is happening in our society,this should happen or be taken care of and this is the way it should be handled, agar aise handle karoge toh aisa hoga...and n e way finally we (the people) will have to get fckd...
This shows the layers in writing...all the POVs.
D) Kalki's hindi dialogue to Abhay-- never expected this kind of fluency from her
d) Emraan's body language in every shot... I just loved it....totally out of the box.
E) "Sir justice ka sapna maine chod dia hai"...this one punch line tells u the whole character sketch of Mr. Krishnan that he has seen everything, suffered alot and has adapted himself with it.
F) "Hello...u do modelling?"...this line tells us the whole c.sketch of Emraan's character...but the accent with which he delivers the line is truly truly impeccable.
G) That one second ka shot of that girl on airport...in which she is unable to walk properly with her heels...fck!!!it actually shows the transitory phase of our society through which we r currently going...the explosion of urban-sub-urban lives...u know that confused & wanna be kind of mentality of this so called urban life.
H) Perfectly selected dialogues for the establishment of characters.
J) Wonderful background score..with the usage of that HINDI Tag line.."kasam khoon ki khaai hai ye shahar nahi shanghai hai"...it actually works...shows the makers' intension that its cut 4 the masses.
I) "Banda hath me hai"...by Emraan is out of sync or might be dubbed later...but thats avoidable.
SO FROM ME N MY ALL FRENDS...IT HAS GOT 9.5/10.
I just hope ki this message reaches DB sir, a gem of a person and one of the most talented storytellers of this nation...Thanks....Gaurav Mehra.

AND THE MOST INTERESTING THING IS THAT 'I HAVE SEEN SHOOTING OF "SHANGHAI" FILM IN BARAMATI......AND ALSO HAD SMALL ROLE AS "COLLEGE STUDENT" IN "SHANGHAI" FILM.
